                        SOUTH DAKOTA

     The Rapid City-based Tri-State Militia is described by
its leader Rodger Chant as an umbrella organization for
militia groups across the state. Chant also claims that the
group maintains lies with 35 other militias across the
country. including the Michigan Militia.
