The ADL spy scandal that erupted in San Francisco is finally receiving
national exposure. As national news organizations begin to dig into the
affair, the police investigation is turning up a number of shocking new
details of the massive extent of the ADL's espionage effort. ADL officials
could face 48 felony counts.
___________________________________________________________________________
On April 8 the story of the illegal spying operations of the
Anti-Defamation League (ADL) of B'nai B'rith were finally reported in
surprising detail by one of the major television news networks. And the
story is beginning to receive national exposure, after long silence broken
only by the San Francisco papers and The SPOTLIGHT.
ABC's "Nightly News" broadcast a lengthy, detailed report on the
scandal, which first erupted in San Francisco but which has spread
nationwide.
What amazed many viewers interviewed by The SPOTLIGHT afterward is that
ABC's report put the ADL in a very bad light, and bad publicity is not
something the ADL is used to receiving.
ABC-News reporter James Walker brought some 18 million estimated TV
viewers a story that has been told by The SPOTLIGHT and its publisher
Liberty Lobby since 1955: that the ADL has been operating a massive and
permanent espionage apparatus in this country, taking orders from and
acting as proxy for a foreign intelligence agency--Israel's Mossad.
According to the police, it was not only patriotic groups such as
Liberty Lobby and Black nationalist groups such as the Nation of Islam that
were targeted by the ADL. The ADL also sent operatives into the ranks of
such liberal organizations as the National Association for the Advancement
of Colored People and the United Farm Workers.
Also targeted were the anti-abortion group Operation Rescue, the
environmentalist group Greenpeace and the board of directors of station
KQED, a San Francisco public television station. These are just a handful
of the ADL's victims.
SPOTLIGHT SCOOP
When the San Francisco spy scandal first erupted at the beginning of
this year--involving the theft of classified police intelligence files by
San Francisco police inspector Tom Gerard and their sale to the ADL--
initial reports about the affair appeared only locally, except for national
coverage provided by The SPOTLIGHT.
The televised report on ABC news was interesting in that it included
film footage of ADL informant Roy Bullock (first exposed by The SPOTLIGHT
as an ADL operative as far back as 1986), as well as very rare, somewhat
blurry film footage of the elusive Irwin Suall, the "ex-Marxist" who runs
the ADL's spy division out of his offices at the UN plaza in Manhattan.
ABC reported it had received information that Bullock--whose code name
was "Cal"--had been hailed by Suall as being one of the ADL's "best" spies.
(Bullock had spied on Liberty Lobby for years until an alert Liberty Lobby
staffer sensed Bullock's real agenda and exposed him as an ADL operative.)
MORE ADL SPIES AT LARGE
The Establishment network also reported a former ADL official in Los
Angeles told ABC he was aware of at least three more ADL spies operating in
Chicago and at least one in Atlanta. The Los Angeles ADL official also
admitted his own job was to maintain the ADL's spy files at the ADL office
where he was employed.
(Further information uncovered by The SPOTLIGHT indicates the ADL also
maintains operatives in Washington, St. Louis and New York, among other
major cities. These operatives can be deployed elsewhere as the need
arises.)
ABC reporter Walker journeyed to a remote Philippine island to interview
fugitive former cop Gerard, who fled the country when the investigation
began.
Officials of the ADL refused to be interviewed by ABC. Historically,
when confronted with the truth, the ADL always refuses to face questioning
or to participate in any form of debate.
To make matters worse for the ADL, the ABC report came on the heels of
yet a second police raid on the offices of the ADL in both San Francisco
and Los Angeles.
This raid was a follow-up to initial raids by San Francisco police with
the assistance of federal marshals and the FBI on ADL headquarters in the
two cities in December of last year.
1 MILLION VICTIMS?
Police sources have revealed that the information they have uncovered
suggests the ADL has been maintaining secret files on more than 950
political groups, newspapers and labor unions and on a minimum of 12,000
people.
(The 12,000 figure, however, is based only on the number of names
discovered in the West Coast offices of the ADL. The ADL has offices all
over the United States, suggesting that the individual files kept by the
ADL are much more numerous, perhaps as many as 1 million people
nationwide.)
The _Los Angeles Times_ reported on April 9 that the ADL may face a
total of 48 felony counts for not properly reporting the employment of its
spy Bullock.
According to the _Times_, the ADL disguised payments to Bullock for more
than 25 years by funneling $550 a week to a Beverly Hills, California
attorney, Bruce I. Hochman, who turned the money over to Bullock.
(Attorney Hochman, a prominent ADL figure, is one of the major tax
attorneys in California and a former U.S. prosecutor. He was also a member
of a secret panel appointed by former U.S. senator [now governor] Pete
Wilson [R-Calif.] to make recommendations on new federal judges in the
Golden State.)
The _Times_ also reported David Lehrer, regional director of the ADL
office in Los Angeles, maintained a secret slush fund used to pay for the
ADL's spy operations. He signed checks from the account under the name "L.
Patterson" to pay for the clandestine activities.

An ADL official is reported to have claimed the account was used to pay
for subscriptions to magazines and newspapers published by groups targeted
by the ADL's "fact finding" (i.e. dirty tricks) division.
To date, the _New York Times_ (which promotes itself as America's
"newspaper of record") published only a brief, cursory item about the
scandal, buried at the bottom of the back section of the newspaper. The
"liberal" internationalist _Washington Post_ has not published a word of
the scandal.

You Pay for Boondoggle of Historic Proportions

While congressional Republicans and Democrats argue over pork projects
in the Clinton economic package, neither party is taking advantage of the
opportunity to save taxpayers an estimated $105 million between now and the
end of the century.
That's how much Congress has appropriated for the U.S. Holocaust
Memorial Museum Council. Some are calling the museum in Washington, D.C. a
boondoggle of historic proportions.
The federal government has already spent nearly $54 million in federal
funds on what museum proponents call the "privately funded" archives.
In addition, prime real estate on the Mall, which because of its
scarcity is impossible to set a value on, has been given to the
quasi-public commission.
By comparison, the federal government donated land to the memorial
dedicated to the 58,151 Americans who died in Vietnam. But the memorial
itself was paid for with $7 million donated by the American public, mostly
the bereaved families of the men killed.
Since the federal government has not earned a dime in far more than 12
years, all moneys given to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Council have been
borrowed by the government.
YOU WILL PAY FOREVERMORE
Consequently, taxpayers have been, and will be in perpetuity, forced
to pay interest on the museum endowment. In addition to the $53.96 million
appropriated to the museum between 1980 and 1993, the council is slated to
receive another $15.4 million a year between fiscal 1994 and 2000. These
payments are to be adjusted for inflation.
Because President Bill Clinton is asking Americans to "sacrifice,"
this allocation has drawn the ire of informed Americans across the land,
according to a Liberty Lobby spokesman.
"This is a big fake," said Vince Ryan, chairman of the Liberty Lobby
Board of Policy. "All 'public funding' is indebtedness."
Ryan said the public should not be forced to suffer through deficit
spending for a museum or any other non-essential while the government faces
a debt of at least $4 trillion and continued record deficits.
FIGURE NOT AVAILABLE
The federal government owns the land and the brand new five-story
museum. A museum spokesman would not say if or how much the buildings cost
taxpayers. "We don't have a figure," she said. "The building's not
finished yet."
Many contend the buildings were funded through private donations. If
that's the case, in addition to the federal largess, the private
contributions flooding the museum are also expected to further drain tax
coffers.
A museum spokesperson claims the museum has received pledges of close
to $150 million. Many of these contributions are exceedingly large and
they carry a heavy tax write-off. The foundation itself does not pay
taxes, so the federal government potentially loses $300 million on the $150
million.
The museum has been a sore spot for Americans since Jimmy Carter
proposed the idea in 1978. Elie Wiesel, Carter's choice as chairman of the
first U.S. Holocaust Commission, insisted the commission be overwhelmingly
loaded with Jewish survivors of the Holocaust.
Wiesel ultimately wrote:
The holocaust was the systematic bureaucratic extermination of
six million Jews by the Nazis and their collaborators as a central act
of state during the Second World War, as night descended, millions of
other peoples [sic] were swept into this net. The universality of the
holocaust lies in its uniqueness: the Event is essentially Jewish, yet
its interpretation is universal... While not all victims were Jews,
all Jews were victims.
The museum is expected to be "a monument to the massacre of 6 million
Jews," according to a published report. This tie to church and state has
worried some ever since Carter proposed the museum.
Rumors nationwide suggest a counterprotest could develop when the
museum opens to the general public. That would surprise the museum staff.
"We have not been a controversial institution," museum spokesperson
Liz Rose said. "The museum celebrates democracy."
President Bill Clinton has been invited to light a torch at the
museum's grand opening April 22. Other major political figures are also
expected to attend the formal dedication ceremony, according to a museum
spokesperson.
NUMBERS SUSPECT
The Establishment numbers on the holocaust are suspect, according to
revisionist historians. For instance, deaths at Auschwitz were reported
for decades to be 4.1 million gassing victims. However, since revisionist
scholars began focusing on the numbers, the figure was officially lowered
to 1.1 million.
Shortly after the Polish government lowered the figures, the long-lost
"death books" listing persons who died at Auschwitz throughout its history
were discovered in Moscow in which full information was given on all
deceased. Although two years are missing, scholars estimate that the total
number of deaths is around 150,000, and none were gassed.
In 1992, senior curator and director of archives at the Auschwitz
State Museum, Dr. Franciszck Piper, was interviewed by a young American
researcher, David Cole. Piper admitted on videotape that the "gas chamber"
there had been built after the Germans surrendered (SPOTLIGHT, Jan. 11).
Miss Rose, however, said the museum will keep the figure at 6 million.
Miss Rose said the museum is not about World War II, it is about the
holocaust. She added there is no more appropriate place than Washington,
D.C. to have the gallery.
"This government prides itself on human rights and justice for all of
its citizens," she added. "There is an individual responsibility. The
holocaust occurred not only because of actions of an evil government, but
because of the indifference of thousands."
The holocaust "is something that happened in Europe, but Americans
liberated the camps," Miss Rose said, again in error.
CHARGE QUIETLY DROPPED
Auschwitz, however, which is in Poland, was not liberated by
Americans, but by Soviet soldiers. No historian today claims any of the
camps liberated by American soldiers in 1945 contained gassing equipment.
The "gassing" charge was originally made about Dachau--which was liberated
by Americans--but it has been quietly dropped. Even Simon Wiesenthal now
admits there never were any gas chambers at Dachau, although for years the
charge was made, and most Americans still believe it.
The SPOTLIGHT has since 1987 consistently pointed out how almost all
races and nations have suffered holocausts--many more directly related to
the American historical experience, and thus worthy of memorialization in
the nation's capital, than the events in Europe during World War II.
For example:
- The Allied firebombing of the art city of Dresden saw more than
200,000 killed, injured or missing.
- The atomic blast over Hiroshima killed and injured more than 129,000
people.
- Estimates suggest as many as 5 million Russians and non-Russians
were forcibly "repatriated" to the USSR after the war, to be murdered by
Josef Stalin.
- Half a million anti-communist Croat fighters and refugees were
murdered by Josip Broz Tito's communist army in the Bleiberg-Maribor
massacre.
- As many as 1 million German prisoners died of starvation and
exposure after the war, at illegal, open-air enclosures ordered by Dwight
Eisenhower.*
These holocaust-type massacres were not limited to World War II.
- More than 100 million were murdered by communist governments in
Moscow and Peking between 1917 and today.
- During the reign of Pol Pot in Cambodia, between 1975 and 1978, 2.5
million were killed.
- In addition, African dictators like Mobutu Sese Seko are estimated
to have killed more than 500,000 of their countrymen.
- The British perpetrated the only truly effective genocide in history
by wiping out the entire Tasmanian race. And that in this century.
- Black historians claim up to 40 million of their kinsmen died
brutally during the slave trade. And one of the most effective genocide
campaigns ever waged occurred in this country against American Indians.

Have you ever thought that your phone was tapped, or someone was
following you, or listening to your converstation from another table in a
restaurant, or taking pictures of you?
Well, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not after you.
It turns out that the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith (ADL),
which we've often described as a criminal organization, has been doing
these things and worse for 40 years.
Of course, if you've been paying attention to our innumerable stories on
the ADL down through the years, you know all that.
So, ho-hum. As a subscriber to The SPOTLIGHT you're used to getting
news weeks, months, years ahead of the orthodox (controlled) news media.
So what's new? Well,
WHAT'S NEW
is that now almost every reader of the daily press and watcher of
television news in the United States and overseas knows it, too!
The truth is being headlined across the country. And it's being picked
up in Europe.
The ADL is every bit as bad as we've said. And we're delighted that at
present, according to the _Los Angeles Times_, the ADL bosses are facing 48
felony counts.
Now 48 felony counts is plenty but that barely scratches the surface of
this criminal organization, the ADL, which has even paid to get people
killed.
All in the name of "brotherhood" and "civil rights," of course.
As yet, the rest of the media hasn't caught on to the fact that the ADL
is a foreign agent, operating illegally in the United States in direct
violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act.
Hopefully, it won't be too long before some Establishment reporter
breathlessly reports it.
That's really the significance of the ADL--that it is
AN AGENT OF ISRAEL
and takes orders from Israel's ruthless and brutal Mossad.
If the ADL goes down for the count, the main problem will still be
around. That problem is the parasitic state of Israel that sucks up
billions of dollars from the taxpayers every year and manages to get us
into more mischief and godawful messes around the world than can be
imagined.
After we bid a happy good-bye to the ADL, there will still be millions
of zealous supporters of Israel around working through a myriad of other
Zionist organizations to pollute our national and international policies
and get what they want out of the long-suffering American taxpayer.
Most of them are pretty well known. But a new one seems to be coming up
fast. That's Tagar, the "youth arm" of Betar.
Tagar is terrorist in nature and works under the protection of corrupt
political officials. Tagar members travel around the world using phony
diplomatic passports supplied by Israel. They come into a country, take
care of an "enemy of Israel" or burn down a business and then leave. Their
headquarters is in France. In our issue dated July 27, 1992 we described
them.
(We happen to know that at least one team of Tagar killers is operating
in the United States right now.)
Exposure is the best way to handle these criminals. We expect that
American law enforcement will soon wake up to Tagar and its illicit
relationship with Israel and take care of the problem.
In the meantime, all the publicity about the ADL should help us get more
Americans in tune with the populist movement--the one and only way to take
back our country.
It's time for the "paranoids" of the world to unite!

In _American Jewish Organizations and Israel_, author Lee O'Brien
provides an informative capsule study of the method of operation of the
Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith (ADL):
In its early decades, the ADL would approach persons or institutions
considered to be anti-Semitic and privately attempt to persuade or
reason them into retracting abusive statements and correcting offensive
behavior.
In later years, ADL has turned to more public and aggressive
measures, which it classifies as "Educational," "Vigilance Work," and
"Legislation." In fact, "Vigilance Work" has become outright
surveillance of individuals and groups, the results of which are fed
into both the Israeli intelligence-gathering apparatus, via their
consulates and embassy, and American domestic intelligence, via the FBI.
Top ADL officials have admitted the use of clandestine surveillance
techniques.
Today the ADL is much more active than other community relations
organizations in the use of its regional offices and constituency for
information gathering, and dissemination.
The central headquarters in New York City provides regional offices
with analysis sheets, sample letters to the editor to be placed in local
media, biographies of Israeli leaders and anti-Zionist speakers, and
directives on how to deal with topical issues.
The regional offices in turn monitor all Israel-related or Middle
East-related activities in their areas, such as the media, campus
speakers, and films. By bringing the local events to the attention of
the central headquarters, they play a pivotal role in ADL's overall
supervision of the national scene.
O'Brien describes one instance which is typical of the ADL's criminal
activities:
One Jewish activist critical of Israeli policies discovered in 1983
that the ADL maintained a file on him going back to 1970; it included
informaiton on the subject gathered from local newspapers, talks on
campuses, interoffice memos (from the institution where the subject
teaches), business meetings, talk on radio and TV, and press and other
miscellaneous materials.
As the file revealed, specific individiuals had been assigned to
monitor this person's lectures, either by tape recordings and verbatim
transcriptions, or by detailed summaries of what the subject spoke
about, the context of the lecture, other participants, size of
audiences, questions from the floor, mood of the audience, and so forth.
In some cases, these observers successfully penetrated closed
meetings in which the subject participated. Subsequently, the ADL
prepared and disseminated a short primer on this person, following the
"myth" and "fact" format, and distributed it to their agents for use at
future speaking engagements.

PARANOIDS OF THE WORLD, UNITE!

Have you ever thought that your phone was tapped, or someone was
following you, or listening to your converstation from another table in a
restaurant, or taking pictures of you?
Well, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not after you.
It turns out that the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith (ADL),
which we've often described as a criminal organization, has been doing
these things and worse for 40 years.
Of course, if you've been paying attention to our innumerable stories on
the ADL down through the years, you know all that.
So, ho-hum. As a subscriber to The SPOTLIGHT you're used to getting
news weeks, months, years ahead of the orthodox (controlled) news media.
So what's new? Well,
WHAT'S NEW
is that now almost every reader of the daily press and watcher of
television news in the United States and overseas knows it, too!
The truth is being headlined across the country. And it's being picked
up in Europe.
The ADL is every bit as bad as we've said. And we're delighted that at
present, according to the _Los Angeles Times_, the ADL bosses are facing 48
felony counts.
Now 48 felony counts is plenty but that barely scratches the surface of
this criminal organization, the ADL, which has even paid to get people
killed.
All in the name of "brotherhood" and "civil rights," of course.
As yet, the rest of the media hasn't caught on to the fact that the ADL
is a foreign agent, operating illegally in the United States in direct
violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act.
Hopefully, it won't be too long before some Establishment reporter
breathlessly reports it.
That's really the significance of the ADL--that it is
AN AGENT OF ISRAEL
and takes orders from Israel's ruthless and brutal Mossad.
If the ADL goes down for the count, the main problem will still be
around. That problem is the parasitic state of Israel that sucks up
billions of dollars from the taxpayers every year and manages to get us
into more mischief and godawful messes around the world than can be
imagined.
After we bid a happy good-bye to the ADL, there will still be millions
of zealous supporters of Israel around working through a myriad of other
Zionist organizations to pollute our national and international policies
and get what they want out of the long-suffering American taxpayer.
Most of them are pretty well known. But a new one seems to be coming up
fast. That's Tagar, the "youth arm" of Betar.
Tagar is terrorist in nature and works under the protection of corrupt
political officials. Tagar members travel around the world using phony
diplomatic passports supplied by Israel. They come into a country, take
care of an "enemy of Israel" or burn down a business and then leave. Their
headquarters is in France. In our issue dated July 27, 1992 we described
them.
(We happen to know that at least one team of Tagar killers is operating
in the United States right now.)
Exposure is the best way to handle these criminals. We expect that
American law enforcement will soon wake up to Tagar and its illicit
relationship with Israel and take care of the problem.
In the meantime, all the publicity about the ADL should help us get more
Americans in tune with the populist movement--the one and only way to take
back our country.
It's time for the "paranoids" of the world to unite!

SPYING EXPOSED NATIONALLY

The ADL spy scandal that erupted in San Francisco is finally receiving
national exposure. As national news organizations begin to dig into the
affair, the police investigation is turning up a number of shocking new
details of the massive extent of the ADL's espionage effort. ADL officials
could face 48 felony counts.

On April 8 the story of the illegal spying operations of the
Anti-Defamation League (ADL) of B'nai B'rith were finally reported in
surprising detail by one of the major television news networks. And the
story is beginning to receive national exposure, after long silence broken
only by the San Francisco papers and The SPOTLIGHT.
ABC's "Nightly News" broadcast a lengthy, detailed report on the
scandal, which first erupted in San Francisco but which has spread
nationwide.
What amazed many viewers interviewed by The SPOTLIGHT afterward is that
ABC's report put the ADL in a very bad light, and bad publicity is not
something the ADL is used to receiving.
ABC-News reporter James Walker brought some 18 million estimated TV
viewers a story that has been told by The SPOTLIGHT and its publisher
Liberty Lobby since 1955: that the ADL has been operating a massive and
permanent espionage apparatus in this country, taking orders from and
acting as proxy for a foreign intelligence agency--Israel's Mossad.
According to the police, it was not only patriotic groups such as
Liberty Lobby and Black nationalist groups such as the Nation of Islam that
were targeted by the ADL. The ADL also sent operatives into the ranks of
such liberal organizations as the National Association for the Advancement
of Colored People and the United Farm Workers.
Also targeted were the anti-abortion group Operation Rescue, the
environmentalist group Greenpeace and the board of directors of station
KQED, a San Francisco public television station. These are just a handful
of the ADL's victims.
SPOTLIGHT SCOOP
When the San Francisco spy scandal first erupted at the beginning of
this year--involving the theft of classified police intelligence files by
San Francisco police inspector Tom Gerard and their sale to the ADL--
initial reports about the affair appeared only locally, except for national
coverage provided by The SPOTLIGHT.
The televised report on ABC news was interesting in that it included
film footage of ADL informant Roy Bullock (first exposed by The SPOTLIGHT
as an ADL operative as far back as 1986), as well as very rare, somewhat
blurry film footage of the elusive Irwin Suall, the "ex-Marxist" who runs
the ADL's spy division out of his offices at the UN plaza in Manhattan.
ABC reported it had received information that Bullock--whose code name
was "Cal"--had been hailed by Suall as being one of the ADL's "best" spies.
(Bullock had spied on Liberty Lobby for years until an alert Liberty Lobby
staffer sensed Bullock's real agenda and exposed him as an ADL operative.)
MORE ADL SPIES AT LARGE
The Establishment network also reported a former ADL official in Los
Angeles told ABC he was aware of at least three more ADL spies operating in
Chicago and at least one in Atlanta. The Los Angeles ADL official also
admitted his own job was to maintain the ADL's spy files at the ADL office
where he was employed.
(Further information uncovered by The SPOTLIGHT indicates the ADL also
maintains operatives in Washington, St. Louis and New York, among other
major cities. These operatives can be deployed elsewhere as the need
arises.)
ABC reporter Walker journeyed to a remote Philippine island to interview
fugitive former cop Gerard, who fled the country when the investigation
began.
Officials of the ADL refused to be interviewed by ABC. Historically,
when confronted with the truth, the ADL always refuses to face questioning
or to participate in any form of debate.
To make matters worse for the ADL, the ABC report came on the heels of
yet a second police raid on the offices of the ADL in both San Francisco
and Los Angeles.
This raid was a follow-up to initial raids by San Francisco police with
the assistance of federal marshals and the FBI on ADL headquarters in the
two cities in December of last year.
1 MILLION VICTIMS?
Police sources have revealed that the information they have uncovered
suggests the ADL has been maintaining secret files on more than 950
political groups, newspapers and labor unions and on a minimum of 12,000
people.
(The 12,000 figure, however, is based only on the number of names
discovered in the West Coast offices of the ADL. The ADL has offices all
over the United States, suggesting that the individual files kept by the
ADL are much more numerous, perhaps as many as 1 million people
nationwide.)
The _Los Angeles Times_ reported on April 9 that the ADL may face a
total of 48 felony counts for not properly reporting the employment of its
spy Bullock.
According to the _Times_, the ADL disguised payments to Bullock for more
than 25 years by funneling $550 a week to a Beverly Hills, California
attorney, Bruce I. Hochman, who turned the money over to Bullock.
(Attorney Hochman, a prominent ADL figure, is one of the major tax
attorneys in California and a former U.S. prosecutor. He was also a member
of a secret panel appointed by former U.S. senator [now governor] Pete
Wilson [R-Calif.] to make recommendations on new federal judges in the
Golden State.)
The _Times_ also reported David Lehrer, regional director of the ADL
office in Los Angeles, maintained a secret slush fund used to pay for the
ADL's spy operations. He signed checks from the account under the name "L.
Patterson" to pay for the clandestine activities.

An ADL official is reported to have claimed the account was used to pay
for subscriptions to magazines and newspapers published by groups targeted
by the ADL's "fact finding" (i.e. dirty tricks) division.
To date, the _New York Times_ (which promotes itself as America's
"newspaper of record") published only a brief, cursory item about the
scandal, buried at the bottom of the back section of the newspaper. The
"liberal" internationalist _Washington Post_ has not published a word of
the scandal.
