I'm also giving you, or anyone else, the right to publish this in whole, but not in part. I am a Jew, a literary journalist distinguished enough to be included in a coming volume of The Dictionary of Literary Biography, and the author of nine books including An Eye for an Eye (Basic Books, 1993). The first three chapters of An Eye for an Eye are about the Holocaust and the Jews' sufferings in it. The last nine chapters are about the Jews - a small minority - who sought to take revenge against the Germans by doing things similar to what the Nazis did. An Eye for an Eye is also about the Jews' redemption, and it's about the many Jews who never sought to take revenge at all. Since publication, An Eye for an Eye has been corroborated by 60 Minutes, The New York Times, the three leading newspapers in Germany, and the German newsmagazine Der Spiegel. It has been accepted as a legitimate source on European history in Norman E. Davies' new `Europe: A History.' Like Jeremy Sean Jones, I firmly believe: 1. that the Holocaust happened, that the Nazis intentionally perpetrated it, and that there were gas chambers at Auschwitz. 2. That there never was a "Bolshevik-Jewish Holocaust," and that no Jewish conspiracy orchestrated the actions of Stalin. [Page 2] 3. That the Talmud is a book with much wisdom that, like the Bible, can be quoted by the devil to his own purpose. Unlike Mr Jones, I also believe in the free flow of information, even inaccurate information, even inaccurate anti-semitic information, and I don't believe in suppressing it. Let truth and falsehood grapple, said Milton in `Areopagitica': whoever knew truth put to the worse in a free and open encounter? On the other hand, I can testify in the words of the Adelaide Institute (Statement by Jeremy Sean Jones, 2.6) that I was indeed boycotted, hounded, persecuted, and ultimately punished (financially) for having written An Eye for an Eye. On network television in the United States, I was called an anti-Semite, a neo-Nazi, and a Holocaust denier, while in Australia my book was reviewed as "far more dangerous than ... Mein Kampf." I was sometimes even threatened with death. Since these things have been happening to me for more than ten years, it would be a burden on me to list them all in writing. But if the Court summons me to, I will respectfully testify about them. With warm regards John Sack
