"Did the Nazis in Germany or the fascists in Italy give freedom of 
speech to the opposition?"

Mr. Giwer said:

   "Of course not.  They passed laws against free speech.  Today 
   they are called hate speech laws.  Of course back then there were 
   only a few days between the crime and the punishment in those 
   countries and in every other country in the world."
