One Nation Under God
James "Bo" Gritz

The foundation of America is the Holy Bible. Before you think I'm
some sort of a religious nut, please remember that I am an
intelligence officer. I've been trained to seek facts, to analyze
them, and then draw positive conclusions. The fact is that 53 out of
55 of our recognized founding fathers were Christians. From 3,152
significant quotes, we find 94% either directly or indirectly
reference the Bible.

For example: John Quincy Adams said, "The highest glory of the
American Revolution was this--it connected in one indissoluble bind,
the principles of civil government with the principle of
Christianity."

George Washington in his farewell address told us not to let the
tribute of American patriots be upon those who try to separate
religion from politics. Washington said: "Reason and experience both
forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of
religious principle."

Thomas Jefferson's highly extolled concept of the "separation of
church and state" has been interpreted totally out of context. The
full statement cautions us not to allow any _one_ Christian church to
dominate the government such as the official Church of England.
Jefferson in no way meant that religion--Christian religion--should
not be part of our government.

John Jay, our first Chief Justice, declared, "Providence has given to
our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty, as well as
the privilege and interest, of a Christian nation to select and prefer
Christians for their rulers."

The New England Primer printed in 1690 taught the ABC's using Bible
verses. Blackstone's law books taught for 160 years that the Bible
was the basis for American law and any law passed contrary to
scripture is not valid in America. A 1796 Supreme Court case, Runkel
v. Wiremiller, established: "By our form of government the Christian
religion is the established religion." The justices cited 87
precedents to support teaching principles of Christianity in American
government. An 1811 case, People v. Ruggles, determined: "Whatever
strikes at the root of Christianity tends manifestly to the
dissolution of civil government."

Even as late as 1952, the Supreme Court ruled that it was
"unconstitutional to separate religion and state." Then it happened!
On June 25, 1962, the U.S. Supreme Court, in ?Engel v. Vitale, without
a single precedent mentioned, took prayer out of public schools. It
was resolved that prayer could psychologically damage children. The
prayer specifically challenged was:

"Almighty God, We acknowledge our dependence upon Thee and we beg Thy
blessings upon us, our parents, our teachers and out country."

Then on June 17, 1963, in Abingdon v. Schempp, again without a single
precedent cited, the justices ruled out reading of the Bible in public
schools. Finally, in 1980, the U.S. Supreme Court found in Stone V.
Gramm that the presence of even the Ten Commandments posted in school
was unconstitutional. The court reasoned: "If the posted copies of
the Ten Commandments are to have any effect at all, it will be to
induce the schoolchildren to read, meditate upon, perhaps to venerate
and obey, the Commandments; this is not a permissible objective."

I wonder if the learned justices have ever looked upon the wall of
their courtroom where the Ten Commandments are clearly before them?
Of course, since 1947, how many justices sitting on the Supreme Court
were true Christians?

Thomas Jefferson said, concerning education, "...even under the best
forms [of government], those entrusted with power have in time, and
by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny; and..the most effectual
means of preventing this would be to illuminate...the minds of the
people at large, and more especially to give them knowledge of those
facts which history exhibits, that they may...know ambition under all
its shapes, and...exert their natural powers to defeat its purposes."

Here is what has happened to the U.S. since the 1962 ban on school
prayer. The number of: violent crimes shot up 544%; teenage
pregnancies between the ages of 15-19 rose 55%, pregnancies between
the ages of 10-14 jumped 533%; reported sexually-transmitted disease
climbed 225% (250 million cases in December 1990); divorces increased
117%, single parents with children increased 160%, and unmarried
couples living together rose 353%.

The national divorce rate is 50%, but the rate of divorce in homes
where there is family prayer and Bible reading is only _one in 1,644._
Ninety percent of all children receiving remedial reading in public
schools come from broken homes. Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
scores, which have been a standard indicator of educational attainment
since 1941, have steadily declined. Students educated in private
Christian schools do better by 100 points on the SAT. This statistic
is especially profound when you realize that on the average only
$1,100 was spent on the private student, whereas $3,752 was expended
per student enrolled in public schools. The principles of core
subjects such as mathematics, languages and the sciences have not
changed. The only difference in the two school systems is that
Christianity is taught in one and disallowed in the other.

Ninety-seven percent of our population profess to be Christians. A
survey conducted in 1986 showed that 89% of America's 246 million
people wanted prayer back in the schools. Before 1984 there were only
1,000 Christian-run schools. Today there are more than 32,000,
educating over 8.5 million students.

Benjamin Franklin observed that people account to God in the next
world, but nations are judged _now_.

Thomas Jefferson wrote: "Indeed, I tremble for my country when I
reflect that God is just, that His justice cannot sleep forever."
John Adams reflected that America's Constitution was made and would
work only for a moral and religious people.

I believe the Constitution was divinely inspired. I believe the Stars
and Stripes are supposed to represent a Heavenly banner. I believe
that our founding fathers were preserved and guided so that there
might be a gathering place for the elect tribes of Israel in these
latter days. A historical reference will help make this point. From
1856 until 1934, U.S. History books carried this account about George
Washington:

During the French and Indian War, Washington was a colonel
in a British force commanded by General Edward Braddock.
His column was ambushed as it approached Fort Duquesne in
Southwest Pennsylvania. During the two-hour battle, the
British suffered 714 casualties. Of the 80 officers
serving under Braddock, Washington was the _only one_ not
hit, even though several horses were shot out from under
him. After the battle, Washington found four bullet
holes in his coat and bullet fragments in his hair. He
wrote a letter home and said that God had protected him.

Fifteen years later, Washington again visited the area.
He met an Indian chief who had come especially to see,
"The man God would not let die in battle." The chief
said that during the battle he had ordered his men to
fire at Washington, since he was obviously a ranking
officer. The chief himself aimed 17 shots directly at
him, until he realized that no bullets would affect
	Washington.

The message is clear. If America is to remain great, we, the people,
must remain good, honest and steadfast in our devotion to Christian
principles.

If we allow the course of our nation to continue without a return to
these principles, I believe the following possibilities, all of which
are based on existing facts, proposed legislation or logical
conclusion, could result:

In order to curb crime, rising terrorism and drug abuse, the
Constitution is suspended pursuant to Congressional action declaring a
"National Crime and Drug Emergency." The President, using his
executive powers under a national emergency, activates FEMA (Federal
Emergency Management Agency). Martial law supersedes the Constitution
and voids the Bill of Rights. Military installations are turned into
holding compounds for any who actively oppose the new world order with
its international laws. A State Church is established for those
seeking religion.

Everyone must receive an identifying, universal bar-coded mark. The
laser tattoo, applied either to the right hand or forehead is
invisible, but can easily be "read" by an infrared scanner. To
control distribution of goods, services, population and production, no
one can buy, sell or trade unless the transaction is recorded on a
central computer (nick-named "the Beast") by the remote-scanner
terminals. This extends to utilities and water accounts, purchase of
heating and cooking fuels, gasoline, food, school lunches, medical
attention, education, transit through highway toll gates, travel
outside local area, mail, licensing, employment, etc.

A debit system replaces tangible assets and currency. Universal
"credit" tokens are issued for use in vending facilities. The "mark"
is read at the time of settlement and the individual's account is
either credited or debited. An acceptance of the scan will signal a
satisfactory transaction. Any irregularity will be indicated by a
rejection of the scan. Authorities are called to investigate all
rejections.

Local police departments are federalized and combined with
international security forces to root out and apprehend any who refuse
to accept citizenship in the new world order. All firearms and
explosive devices are confiscated. Strict curfews are imposed for all
whose mark doesn't indicate a need to be out after dark.

An inoculation against the AIDS virus is provided only for those who
are properly "marked." All others are prevented from receiving
benefits and protection reserved for "new world order" citizens.

The new world order is agreed to by all member states of the United
Nations. A New States Constitution is adopted which replaces every
other authority for government. Armed forces are fully integrated and
converted into international peace-keeping units. Their mission is to
put down all determined resistance to the new order beyond the scope
of police units. New borders and names are assigned to replace old
nationalistic identifications. All references to previous creeds and
countries are discouraged. Esperanto is required study in all schools
and will gradually become the universal language.

The world-citizen identification mark separates those who have nothing
to hide from the criminal and religious cults. The cashless society
will prevent hoarding of wealth by criminal and unauthorized elements.

Every government agency, merchant or service-oriented facility must
purchase and use an IR-compatible (infrared) reader which networks
with the central "Beast" computer located in Brussels. Inventories,
orders, shipping and all manner of accountability are maintained
through this centralized system.

World population levels are brought to a scientifically determined
balance by withholding aid to targeted "non-producer or parasite
populations" experiencing famine, disease or other natural calamity.
People are distributed as required to harvest natural resources and
produce required goods.

Do you want to live under such a controlled system?

It is exciting to be Americans today during this time of prophetic
reality. One only needs to read and have faith in the Bible to make
the proper choice. As for me and my house, we will side with the
Lord. As a soldier I learned to be fearless. To accomplish this
requires absolute certainty concerning what awaits us beyond this
life. As Christians, we know that in the end, we win!

I don't believe our victory will "just happen." God has given us all
that we need as stewards of His New Zion. It is up to us to take the
necessary action to keep our charge free of weeds and tares. In the
end it will be God's grace that will preserve us through the
tribulation. The first action we must take is to restore America as a
"...nation under God." We must be a "part of" instead "apart from"
God if we are to receive His blessings. For those of little faith, I
have included statistics that prove our departure from God (1962,
1963, 1980 Supreme Court decisions) began a slide downward which will
likely continue until we realign our nation with Him. A violent crime
occurs every 19 seconds.

We must take personal, positive and forceful action to insure there is
no further erosion of our Christian foundations. State laws are now
being passed that make it illegal to say the Pledge of Allegiance in
school because of the reference to God and our nation. Those states
who have foolishly adopted such policy must reinstate our pledge. We
must demand a reversal of Supreme Court decisions that go against our
national principles. We must never allow our Constitution to be set
aside in favor of any other form of rule. We must require our
government officials to read, understand and follow the Constitution.
We must guard against any attempt to "rewrite" the Constitution. We
must insist that the Federal Reserve be "federalized" and our Congress
accept their responsibility to regulate and coin money. We must exact
accountability on our government representatives at all levels. No
one person or group should be above the law. No president or council
should be able to commit our military to an international pre-planned
offensive operation without Constitutional approval of the Congress.
In December 1990 the U.S. Congress considered ratifying a UN
Resolution concerning "Protection of Children's rights." Several of
the 54 Articles would outlaw home schooling, church youth camps, and
allow a committee to transfer children away from their parents.

We must return America to God through a revival of Christian ethics or
lose our birthright to an international federation founded in atheism
and the antichrist. In 1983 a Lichter-Rothman survey was made of the
top 104 media leaders and their moral attitudes. Those interviewed
included the elite in television, radio, motion picture, and
publishing for news and entertainment. 97% of those who most
influence our news and entertainment favored abortion on demand. 80%
found nothing wrong with homosexuality and 86% advocated hiring
homosexual teachers. 57% expressed a belief that there was no wrong
in adultery. 44% denied any religion in their life. 93% did not
attend church or religious services. Are these the viewpoints you
want America to embrace? As responsible citizens, we have a duty to
safeguard our children from such indoctrination. USA Today reported
January 2, 1991 that more people were murdered in the United States in
1990 than any time in our history, "...and by most projections this is
just the start of the nation's most violent decade." Your odds are
much better at being murdered as an American than winning the lottery.
Nineteen cities set records in 1990 for violence and murder. America
is dying.

We can win the war on drugs; flush the human sewage from our
bureaucracy and have good government. The price is your personal
involvement. We The People need to choose this day whether America
will continue as a nation under gog or God?

Is he stating a *causal* relationship here? Hey I can make it sound even
better:
Here is what has happened to the U.S. since the bible was brought
to America. The number of: violent crimes shot up 2000%; teenage
pregnancies between the ages of 15-19 rose 300%, pregnancies between
the ages of 10-14 jumped 2000%; reported sexually-transmitted disease
climbed 3500% (250 million cases in December 1990); divorces increased
700%, single parents with children increased 900%, and unmarried
	couples living together rose 1100%.

Ok, the percentages should be about right, get my point? There can be no
causal relationship to these things. Just substitute any event for the
statement 'this is what happened since' and you get a non-sequitur,

Oh great: is he saying it is a Christian virtue to engage in battle?
[greap heaps of shit deleted]

As I said before, I don't know where the poster of stands, but all
evidence I have seen shows Bo Gritz to be a fascist, and the posted article
furthers this conclusion. I have nothing against religion, except that
nearly 90% of all wars in this world were religiously inspired. If Mr.
Gritz had his way, we'd be having another war. The war on lawful, honest,
but non-christian Americans.

In a post here Ralph Moonen says he has seen evidence that Bo Gritz
is a "fascist". I am curious, Ralph, what do you think a fascist is?
What evidence have you seen that Gritz qualifies. The long report
from P.A.R.T. posted here shows only that Gritz has associated with
groups having racist and/or anti-semetic views. In fact its opening
lines provide a summary of the analytical method applied throughout.
"Lie down with dogs - get up with fleas". In other words, guilt by
association.
Do you have anything better than this to support your claim?
