D.D. Guttenplan is again interviewed by National Public Radio about the 
trial.  This is his third interview.  The interview lasts five 
minutes.  Guttenplan is interviewed by National Public Radio from 
London.  The telephone connection is poor, and his voice fades in-and-out 
at times so you need to listen carefully.  This interview has an entirely 
different quality than the previous two in that Guttenplan finally gets to 
the issue of Irving's motive.

Testimony has concluded in David Irving's London lawsuit against Penguin
Books and author Deborah Lipstadt. Irving has written extensively on Adolf 
Hitler and the Holocaust, claiming the extent of the Holocaust has been 
overstated, and
that gas chambers were never used at Auschwitz. Lipstadt stated in her 
book, Denying the Holocaust, that Irving is one of the "most dangerous 
spokespersons for
Holcaust denial.
