The web-site provides comprehensive general information
about the biggest, most brutal but forgotten concentration
camp complex on Austrian territory.

The complex got forgotten because of its high mortality,
the neighborhood of the Mauthausen central camp and
the exploitation of the installations by Allied troops
in the years after liberation.

The knowledge presented about that forgotten KL Gusen I, II & III
camps is re-collected in a local-international endeavor
by survivors and local people living today around this
former camps and shall give a basis for further
research activities all over the world ...
