This directory is temporary - files held here are slowly being moved to the pub/people, pub/places, or pub/camps directory trees. In time, the directory tree itself will be deleted. In particular: Files specific to named individuals and/or organizations are being moved to /pub/orgs and /pub/people - if you cannot locate what you are looking for in this area, try either of those, and you will probably find what you need.
