[Original text from Nizkor Web regarding Raven's contention
that he alone funds "his" web site]

This is not true (though it presumably was at some point in the
past). In a four-page newsletter called IHR Update, dated February
1995, the IHR calls for funds to support that same Web site:

Getting IHR on the Internet has so far been entirely Greg Raven's
private spare time project. Because of the remarkable interest
generated by this small sample of IHR materials, we are
seeking funds to make this an IHR priority, so that
eventually just about everything that's appeared in 14 years of
The Journal of Historical Review will be available on the
   Internet.

Included on that newsletter was a fundraising letter and form, and a
box to check off to donate to the IHR Internet Project. The IHR's
mailing list was estimated at over 30,000 in the early 1980s and is
probably larger now; sending out just three or four mailings probably
costs them approximately as much as Ken McVay has received in donations
to date.

It is important to note that this fundraiser was not an isolated
incident. The IHR's December fundraising letter stated that one of their
five goals for 1995 was to:

Make IHR materials available to millions around the world on the
Internet 'information super-highway,' so that researchers and other
interested persons will have fast, around-the-clock access to the
   best revisionist materials.

Given that it's been well over nine months since the call for funds was
sent out, one wonders when Mr. Raven will stop claiming that his "Web
site...is not supported, sponsored, or financed by the Institute for
Historical Review."
