Contemporary Music for KZ Gusen
Johann Prammer, St. Georgen/Gusen
Johann Prammer, chief of the local brass band, re-arranged the
KZ Gusen Concentration Camp March to perform it with his local band
at the Local-International Commemorations
for the rememberance of the many victims.
That KZ Gusen March originally was composed by Gracjan (Jasio) Guzinsky in 1941
at KZ Gusen Camp.
Wolfgang Weissengruber
In 1995 Wolfgang Weissengruber composed a Liberation-Fanfare
dedicated to the 40.000 (forgotten) victims of KZ Gusen I, II & III
Concentration Camp.
This modern piece of music is now used to open the traditional
Local-International Commemorations
at the KZ Gusen Memorial.
