Linda Thompson's insulting tone
Ms. Thompson responded to our note about the file name,
and it's location on the Nizkor web, in the following manner:
It is extremely disingenuous of you to claim this is not "your" listing.
Let me quote your own tripe for you:
[Ms. Thompson cites the text from the HWEB Project page, concluding with the following text.]
Every mention of me by the ADL is defamatory and the majority is false and
much is entirely fabricated. You have not only the ADL-Thompson file, but
also the "Armed and Dangerous" reference. I have not looked, but if there
are any other references to me on these pages, remove them as well.
Either remove these listings, stop using my name without my authority, and
stop associating me with your witch hunt for "nazis and racists," or your on
the lawsuit, no ifs, ands or buts.
In his response, Mr. McVay offered the following comments:

I have made no such claim, nor have I used insulting language
in my communication with you. If you wish to communicate with
me further, I would ask that you remain polite and respectful,
and act in a professional manner.
Sincerely yours,
Nizkor wonders if Ms. Thompson, a public figure, has made
similar demands of DejaNews, which archives all of her posts
to various BITNET mailing lists and UseNet newsgroups.
Somehow, we doubt it.
